Welcome the first big content update for The Wild Eight - Beyond The Door!

Finally, after a long wait, something even bigger awaits both experienced survivors and newcomers alike in the harsh lands of Alaska: we're proud to announce that the first big content update for The Wild Eight - “Beyond The Door” is here.

Here are some of the main features that the survivors have to look forward to in the new update:

New Quests: team up with other survivors to uncover even more secrets of Vapor-3 research project. Expanded In-game World: a huge abandoned scientific bunker awaiting somewhere within the frozen landscape, that have all the options to become your new home. One of its key features is a full-scale greenhouse farm, where you can grow up crops with further possibility to cook them into something edible. Fast travel system: uncover hidden railway stations that will allow you to instantly jump between them Dangerous Bosses: a furious beast got unleashed on the world of The Wild Eight - track him down and defeat him for big rewards. Added new skills and abilities: enhanced and updated character development system. General bug fixes and rebalance: smooth gameplay will become even more enjoyable. And of course new items on locations.

Full Update Notes: Added “The Door” side quest - it will shed light on some parts of the plot an d the reward for completion will be one of the most useful items in game. Added “Home, Sweet Home” side quest -gain access to a fully operational bunker with a lot of useful functions. Inside you’ll be able to grow crops and prepare dishes from them, increase your skill points by using gym equipment and fast travel between main in-game locations using the underground railroad system. Added a new fearsome enemy (Raid Boss) - There is a new cave on map that will lead you to an unknown ferocious creature. It will take all your efforts to take him down, but the reward is well worth it. Added 7 new equipment items, which can be found in the game world Added another skill level for a total of 6 Added a new workshop level, and 8 new craftable items Optimised the skill system - added new skills and rebalanced the previous ones, mainly the “Hunting” skill tree Arrows can be equipped in your inventory window now. Game is now playable in windowed mode. Rebalanced the amount of items on all the tiles. Rebalanced animal population in the game. Rebalanced item drops from animals. Improved Animal AI UI changes for a better and more optimised experience

Please notice: this update does not support savings from older versions of the game since it adds new tiles and objects to the game world.
